Shrimp and Scallops in White Wine Sauce with Rice

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Sour cream, light
1 dash Spices, pepper, black
1 dash Salt, table
1 tbsp, drained Capers, canned
1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
1 medium (2-1/2” dia) Onions, raw
2 fl oz Alcoholic beverage, wine, table, white
3/4 lb Crustaceans, shrimp, mixed species, raw
8 oz Mollusks, scallop, mixed species, raw
2 cup Rice, brown, medium-grain, cooked
Directions:
| Step 1: | Over medium high heat, add olive oil to hot pan and then add onions. Cook until the onions become translucent. Add salt and pepper to taste. | 5 mins |
| Step 2: | When onions become translucent and pan has a bit of light brown on the bottom, add wine and deglaze pan. Quickly add capers with the juice. | 1 min |
| Step 3: | Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes. Then add scallops and cook until done, about 6 minutes. Do not overcook. | 8 mins |
